Do you remember the commercial where the guy says…

"Can you hear me now?"

You most likely do. Did you also know that your customers (9 out of 10) are saying the same thing to you – only with their mobile phones! You may be asking yourself – what is he talking about?

Let me explain. Next time you are in your place of business, take a "close" look around. Take note of a common thing that you see almost everyone with. I'm sure you guessed it – a mobile phone!

You most likely carry one yourself, right?

A larger percentage (close to 20% now) have a smart phone, and they are using it for many things.

For example:

  • 70% are using them in a store
  • 54% of them to find a retailer
  • 49% to compare prices

  • 34% to search in-store inventory

You want to have a mechanism in place to draw your customers back to do more business with you. Mobile marketing is a great way to do that!

  2. Having a mobile ready website. Since more and more of your customers are using mobile, eventually they are going to land on your site using their mobile phone. They most likely will be looking for a phone number, location and directions. Make sure you have a mobile ready website!
